Ba Huan Joint Stock Company, the company holding 30% of the egg market share in the South, has announced that the company\u2019s SAP ERP system and comprehensive farm-to-distribution digital management applications have been successfully put into operation. Real-time management, strict control of product quality, optimization of time, effort, and increase in revenue are major outcomes that result from the cooperation between Ba Huan and FPT Corporation, aiming towards fulfilling the goal of comprehensive digital transformation and conquering the dream of digital agriculture, thereby continuing to deliver “golden” quality products to customers.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A \u201cstarting shot” for digital transformation in the agriculture sector<\/b><\/p>\n

Starting as a production and trading company based on a conventional agricultural model, Ba Huan has pioneered and adopted FPT’s advanced and comprehensive digital technology ecosystem to transform itself into a business that keeps pace with global development trends, aiming towards becoming the leading food solution provider in Vietnam. The digital transformation platform with the SAP core system and Made-by-FPT applications is designed to help the Board of Ba Huan manage in real time, create seamlessness in the management process, provide strict control from raw material selection, breeding, harvesting, production, processing and distribution of products to consumers. The system ensures that all stages are always closely monitored and errors are quickly detected without affecting the entire process, thereby optimizing time, effort and expenses and producing beyond-expectation results.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ba Huan and FPT successfully put the SAP S\/4HANA system and digital transformation project into operation.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Specifically, FPT has successfully implemented a closed 3F (Feed – Farm – Food) management system for Ba Huan, that includes the “RISE with SAP” solution suite specialized for the agriculture sector, 03 suites of SAP-based packaged solutions, and 03 Made-by-FPT applications, applicable to the entire Ba Huan\u2019s organizational system including the Headquarters, factories, and subsidiaries located in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, Hanoi. The SAP S\/4HANA system with 08 subsystems is considered the backbone to help Ba Huan achieve \u201cthe best management practices” compliant with international standards specifically for the agriculture and livestock sector, facilitating the integration with complementary Made-by-FPT solutions. Based on the SAP platform, with extensive experience and outstanding technical capabilities, deep understanding of SAP’s solutions as well as the customer’s pain points, FPT has developed 03 suites of SAP-based packaged solutions for Promotional programs and policies management (FPT Trade Promotion), Transportation management (FPT Allocation Route), and Business planning (FPT Planning). Besides, FPT has also developed for Ba Huan 03 digital applications that are Farm App (for livestock management), Delivery App (distribution management), and Sale Portal (sales management).<\/span><\/p>\n

Cross-chain management from farms to distribution<\/b><\/p>\n

Currently, Ba Huan has built synchronized factory and farm facilities, including 4 production and processing factories and 3 livestock farms located in large provinces\/cities such as Hanoi, Long An, and Binh Duong. In addition, the company has 65 chicken coops and 1 egg incubation room, of which Binh Duong farm has 22 coops for breeder chickens and laying hens, Ben Luc farm has 29 coops for pullets and laying hens, Thanh Hoa farm has 14 coops for broiler chickens. Therefore, centralized management is Ba Huan’s top priority.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Farm App application makes the reporting compact, hassle-free, and optimal in terms of time. All information is updated, stored, and visualized through the app that is directly connected to the SAP S\/4HANA overall management system. The leadership and departments can monitor the entire process at the farms from chicken intake, number of coops, functions of each coop… anytime, anywhere. Based on that, the leadership will be able to make decisions in an accurate and timely manner to departments at factories and farms in different areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides, the Delivery App helps Ba Huan complete a seamless product distribution system. Order information and delivery time are compiled on the system for ease of handling, shortening the distribution time. Interaction with sales agents also becomes more effective, enhancing management and business efficiency across the chain, and minimizing the costs of operations.<\/span><\/p>\n
