Recently, FPT\/FPT IS and CBF Pharma officially launched a new phase of the digital transformation project to implement the SAP Business One (SAP B1) system and FPT Smart Cloud infrastructure for CBF Pharma\u2019s subsidiaries in Laos, including S-Mediacare, CM Healthcare, VCLab, and CBF Pharma Vientiane (CBF Vientiane).<\/span><\/p>\n

This event marks an important milestone in CBF’s digitalization journey, and at the same time opens up opportunities for deeper cooperation between FPT\/FPT IS and pharmaceutical enterprises in Vientiane, Laos. It is also expected that the handshake between the two companies will boost the sale of FPT Smart Cloud’s products in the country of millions of elephants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The launching ceremony of the SAP B1 system expansion project<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

During the project kick-off ceremony with the attendance of leaders from CBF\u2019s 4 subsidiaries: CBF Vientiane, S-Medicare, CM HealthCare, and VCLab, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Project Manager at FPT IS, introduced the detailed implementation method, goals and rollout timeline tailored for these companies to achieve maximum efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

When put into operation, the SAP B1 system will offer CBF Vientiane and other subsidiaries a modern business management platform. SAP B1 enables process automation, manual work minimization, time and manpower saving, report quality improvement, and transparency enhancement, thus ensure these companies\u2019 compliance with regulations and standards.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this phase of the project, FPT\/FPT IS will upgrade the SAP B1 system to the latest version 10.0, and integrate the automatic export feature of Excel report in accordance with the format required by the Lao tax authority. As a result, time and effort spent on report preparation will be significantly reduced while ensuring full compliance with current regulations is met. The project implementation is expected to entirely complete within 4 months and the platform will officially come into operation from the beginning of February 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Addressing at the event on behalf of CBF Vientiane and other companies, Ms. Chindamany VONGSOULY expressed her sincere gratitude to FPT\/FPT IS and her belief that FPT\/FPT IS\u2019s experience in SAP B1 system implementation and its long-term cooperation with CBF Pharmaceutical would bring great success to the project.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2019, FPT\/FPT IS successfully implemented the SAP Business One project for CBF Pharmaceutical in Champasak Province, Laos. The two companies have fostered their effective cooperation through multiple ERP system upgrade, maintenance and development contracts executed by FPT\/FPT IS for CBF.<\/span><\/p>\n
