For the ICs, FPT has been focusing on two areas: Education and Design &#8211; Manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Regarding Education, Mr. Quang emphasizes that the world has been short of semiconductor human resources. Vietnam is deemed to have great potential to develop human resources for the sector. As the matter of fact, the Government of Vietnam has recently issued a policy towards educating 50,000 semiconductor engineers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cFPT has opened the first Department of Semiconductor and Microelectronics in Vietnam at FPT University and invites professors from Japan and Taiwan to involve into both consultation and teaching. The company has also developed a human resource education program framework based on U.S. standards, which is expected to educate 15,000 engineers by 2030 mainly in Hanoi and Da Nang. In 2022, FPT Semiconductor has designed and manufactured 3 power management IC families, and it is expected that there will be 7 new families by 2023.
