Recently, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and IBM Vietnam have jointly organized a seminar themed “DX Tech Talk: Accelerating the Digital Future of Banking\u201d. The seminar is attended by Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) as a strategic partner of FPT IS and IBM Vietnam. This is an annual event for the three sides to discuss the needs and new pain points from the bank and update the latest information on technology.<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

Delivering the opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Khang – Director of Software Solutions, IBM Vietnam – speaks of the journey of accompanying Vietcombank in the digitalization process, and affirms that the seminar is an opportunity for Vietcombank, IBM Vietnam, and FPT IS to continue to exchange expertise and tech knowledge, aiming towards strengthening the cooperative relationship for mutual growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

On behalf of FPT IS, Mr. Bui Anh Duong –\u00a0 Technology Director of Finance & Banking Sector – has delivered a presentation on 2-Speed IT infrastructure and Cloud Computing deployment for banks. In particular, 2-Speed IT infrastructure offers two separate but connected modes of operation. Specifically, Mode 1 is stable and is applicable to foundational systems, while Mode 2 is fast and flexible, applicable to systems that aim toward differentiation and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Mr. Duong also emphasizes that deploying Cloud Computing will promote the use of Cloud services across the bank, helping to strengthen the four factors which are “Agility – Scalability – Automation – Self-service”. FPT currently provides FPT Cloud solution including the complete models of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, helping businesses develop digital experience and create a solid tech foundation for the transformation of business and operational processes.<\/span><\/p>\n
