FPT.IDCheck was launched in the context of the Prime Minister issuing Decision No. 06\/QD-TTg approving the Project of \u201cDeveloping applications of population data, electronic identification and authentication serving the national digital transformation for the period 2022 – 2025 with vision to 2030″ (Project 06\/CP). In particular, the exploitation and use of population data, electronic identification and authentication are of great significance in serving socio-economic development and the national digital transformation, and gain immediate and long-term benefits for building the e-Government model towards digital government model for the period of 2022 – 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n In response to Project 06\/CP, as of December 2022, the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security has issued nearly 80 million chip-based ID cards over a total population of nearly 100 million. Up to now, chip-based ID cards have been integrated with many services such as insurance, driving license, household registration book, and many others, allowing the people to carry out administrative procedures and transactions in an easy, accurate, and effective way.<\/span><\/p>\n In such context, FPT.IDCheck – a solution for verification of data of chip-based ID cards and facial recognition with 100% accuracy – is considered a solution with outstanding development potential, as it properly responds to the increasing demand for identity verification in a wide variety of fields such as Banking – Finance, Insurance, E-commerce, Real Estate…, as well as businesses or organizations in need of identity verification such as schools, notary offices, or hospitals.<\/span><\/p>\n FPT.IDCheck is honored in the Top 10 Sao Khue Awards 2023.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n In terms of uniqueness, FPT IS is currently the first private enterprise in Vietnam to fully comply with all technology and security standards and be licensed by the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security to provide chip-based ID card verification services. To achieve 100% identification accuracy, in addition to being developed on the basis of the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security’s chip-based ID card verification application platform, FPT.IDCheck also integrates the most advanced technologies such as AI technology that is fully compliant with the ISO-30107 biometric presentation attack detection standard, the OCR technology that automatically extracts all information from photos of both sides of the ID card and automatically reads and analyzes the MRZ string, the Near-field Communication (NFC) technology that reads data from the chip-based ID card and is compliant with ICAO 9303 standard\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n A comprehensive solution to the identity verification problem<\/b><\/p>\n Launched for just about a year, however, FPT.IDCheck has successfully proven its effectiveness and applicability. The solution has been selected by many large organizations and enterprises in Vietnam such as VietCredit Finance Joint Stock Company (VietCredit), JACCS International Vietnam Finance Company Limited (JACCS), or Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank).
