On April 11, 2025, FPT had the honor of hosting a delegation from the National Defense University (NDU) of the United States. The delegation included representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam and 15 master\u2019s degree students from the Eisenhower School. These students are currently serving in various branches of the U.S. Department of Defense, including the Air Force, Army, and Navy.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

NDU delegation visits FPT Tower<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

During the visit, the NDU delegation toured the FPT Tower and the Vietnam Semiconductor Innovation Center (VSIC), one of FPT\u2019s key initiatives in collaboration with the National Innovation Center (NIC). Here, the delegation was introduced to the \u201cFPT Chip Inside\u201d ecosystem, which includes products such as Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC), the FPT Access Control System (FAS), along with other applications developed by FPT\u2019s semiconductor engineering team.<\/span><\/p>\n

FPT representative shares the development roadmap of the semiconductor industry in Vietnam<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

At the meeting, FPT representatives shared their roadmap for the development of the semiconductor industry in Vietnam, particularly focusing on the field of integrated circuit (IC) design and the training of high-quality human resources for the Information Technology sector in general and the booming semiconductor industry in Vietnam in particular.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation also highlighted one of the top priorities of their research outcomes: the development of the semiconductor value chain in Southeast Asia, with Vietnam playing a crucial role in this vision.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the 2025 academic year, the Eisenhower School is conducting in-depth research on the microelectronics industry to evaluate national security strategies and the use of U.S. resources, viewed through the lens of the semiconductor sector\u2014a critical foundation in microelectronics technology that enables the development of advanced technologies, systems, and devices essential to the U.S. economy, national defense, and security.<\/span><\/p>\n

This visit marks an important step forward in fostering bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the United States in science and technology.
