As Vietnam commits to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, the logistics sector is under pressure to meet global environmental standards. In response, Tracimexco \u2013 Supply Chains and Agency Services J.S. Company (TRA-SAS) has partnered with FPT to roll out the VertZ\u00e9ro – carbon accounting software. This marks the start of TRA-SAS\u2019s green transition and reinforces its pioneering role in the logistics industry, where businesses are proactively adopting emission tracking and building sustainable operational capacities in line with international standards.<\/b><\/p>\n

FPT launches VertZ\u00e9ro carbon accounting software for TRA-SAS<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

FPT has begun deploying its VertZ\u00e9ro software for TRA-SAS\u2014a modern technology solution designed to inventory Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by ISO 14064-1:2018 standards. In its initial phase, the VertZ\u00e9ro software will be rolled out company-wide across TRA-SAS\u2019s operations to compile emission data for the base year 2024. This strategic move enables TRA-SAS to swiftly meet customer demands for emissions transparency while strengthening its competitive edge amid increasingly stringent environmental requirements in global supply chains.<\/span><\/p>\n

A significant challenge facing logistics companies today is the seamless collection, standardization, and management of emission data across all operations\u2014from transportation and warehousing to logistics services. In Vietnam, where road transport accounts for over 95% of freight-related emissions, the digitalization of emission inventories remains limited. VertZ\u00e9ro aims to bridge this gap by digitizing the entire process from calculation to reporting, helping businesses reduce resource costs and enhance transparency.<\/span><\/p>\n

FPT\u2019s VertZ\u00e9ro software is a comprehensive digital solution developed to help Vietnamese enterprises conduct accurate, automated emission inventories aligned with international standards. Already adopted by several major manufacturers, the platform is expanding into the transport and logistics sectors under growing pressure to decarbonize.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project officially launched on May 26, 2025, and is expected to conclude by July 2025. FPT\u2019s expert team will work closely with TRA-SAS\u2019s technical department to standardize inventory processes, train personnel, and establish a long-term emissions data system during this period. More importantly, this initiative lays the groundwork for TRA-SAS to enhance ESG reporting capabilities, secure access to green financing, and comply with strict environmental expectations from international partners in logistics.<\/span><\/p>\n
