Towards the 50th anniversary of Vietnam\u2019s Reunification Day, FPT Corporation and Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railways No.1 Company Limited have launched the \u201cHang Duong Cemetery Digitization\u201d project. As part of the project, FPT is responsible for providing end-to-end technology consulting and implementation – from data digitization and development of a VR360 platform, to building an interactive map and designing an integrated website for information management and search.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hang Duong Cemetery spans 190,000 m\u00b2 and is the resting place of nearly 2,000 Vietnamese soldiers<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Hang Duong Cemetery covers 190,000 m\u00b2 and is the resting place of nearly 2,000 revolutionary soldiers – including hundreds of unidentified graves. This digitization effort is not only a technological advancement, but also a meaningful way to preserve historical memories and pass on the spirit of gratitude to present and future generations.<\/span><\/p>\n

In its initial phase, the project focuses on digitizing approximately 110 graves and developing a website to manage the information system<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Phase 1 of the project is being expedited with the aim of completion before April 30. In this initial phase, the project focuses on digitizing approximately 110 graves and developing an information management website featuring martyrs\u2019 profiles, a virtual map of Hang Duong Cemetery, and a VR360 virtual tour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the website, users can easily search for martyrs by name, hometown, year of birth, year of sacrifice, and locate graves via an intuitive digital map, helping families and visitors find and pay tribute to their loved ones with greater ease.<\/span><\/p>\n

The entire cemetery space is vividly recreated using 360-degree imaging technology<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Notably, the entire cemetery space,\u00a0 from grave areas to the Memorial House and ceremonial grounds, is vividly reconstructed using 360-degree imaging technology, delivering an immersive experience that evokes deep emotional connection with historical values.<\/span><\/p>\n

The system also features strict access control, enabling data updates and statistics by area or historical period, while ensuring high levels of security and accuracy during operation.<\/span><\/p>\n
