On August 18, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security officially inaugurated National Data Center No. 1 and announced the commencement of the Center\u2019s Database System operations. At the event, leading technology corporations, including FPT Corporation, proudly showcased technology ecosystems to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and distinguished delegates. With the guiding vision \u201cNational Data \u2013 National Vision \u2013 Technological Sovereignty,\u201d FPT reaffirmed commitment to actively contributing to the successful realization of Vietnam\u2019s national digital transformation strategy.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, and senior representatives from various ministries, sectors, and central agencies. The event marks a historic milestone, signifying the establishment of the National Data Center, hailed as the \u201cheart\u201d of digital transformation and the \u201cbrain\u201d powering a new era of growth and prosperity.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the initial stage, with the official launch of operations, data from the National Consolidated Database housed at the National Data Center will immediately be utilized to streamline administrative procedures, reduce paperwork requirements, and enhance decision-making and governance across all levels. Looking ahead, the Ministry of Public Security will not only focus on the effective operation of National Data Center No. 1, but also proceed with the establishment of National Data Centers No. 2 and No. 3 in line with the set roadmap.<\/span><\/p>\n

On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended the dedication and determination of the Ministry of Public Security – particularly its leadership and the commanders of Department 12 – who closely monitored, directed, and supervised work directly at the construction site. He also praised the contractors, equipment suppliers, and construction units for their exceptional efforts in delivering the project on schedule and with assured quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the inauguration of the National Data Center and its Database System carries profound significance across economic, political, social, and national security dimensions. The project represents a strategic milestone that will accelerate Vietnam\u2019s national digital transformation, while fostering the development of the digital economy, digital society, digital workforce, and digital citizens. It also reflects the will, confidence, and strength of Vietnam, with the spirit that <\/span>\u201cNothing is impossible. What matters is having the highest determination to act.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

This is the digital brain that supports national governance and development, built on data that is Accurate \u2013 Complete \u2013 Clean \u2013 Dynamic, unified, and shared. It strengthens digital sovereignty while reducing reliance on foreign infrastructure. With the Government identifying digital transformation as the driving force for a new era\u2014where data becomes a critical production resource\u2014the more we harness this invaluable asset, the stronger the nation will grow. At FPT, we approach every digital transformation challenge from a data-first perspective, accompanying ministries, provinces, and enterprises in executing their key missions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

First, in the area of data digitization, FPT has developed a comprehensive suite of solutions ranging from document digitization and digital archiving to data visualization in both 2D and 3D formats. Flagship platforms such as iSOMA, ArchiveNex, and akaVerse form a synchronized technology ecosystem that supports the management, preservation, and exploitation of digital data across diverse sectors – including public administration, science, education, healthcare, and culture – in alignment with Resolution 57-NQ\/TW and the amended Archives Law of 2024. This ensures standardized, structured, and interoperable long-term data storage on digital infrastructure, with effective applications across national and sectoral databases.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the field of heritage digitization, this ecosystem has enabled FPT to successfully digitize tens of thousands of valuable cultural artifacts, contributing to the preservation of the nation\u2019s collective memory while opening new avenues for cultural access for businesses and citizens alike.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second, in ensuring data accuracy and reliability, FPT stands ready to support government agencies, organizations, and enterprises with data standardization solutions that can seamlessly integrate into the forthcoming national data platform. Its modern technology infrastructure is capable of processing thousands of queries per second, supporting multiple data formats, and meeting international security standards. Through this, organizations are empowered with data that is accurate, complete, clean, dynamic, standardized, and compliant with legal requirements.
