On January 7, 2026, Nafoods Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: NAF) and FPT Corporation officially signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement and simultaneously launched the implementation of the SAP S\/4HANA Public Cloud enterprise resource planning system. The event marks an important milestone in Nafoods\u2019 digital transformation journey, aligning with its vision to become a digital agriculture enterprise operating on data-driven platforms, applying international-standard governance, and enhancing its position in the global supply chain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joining forces to fuild a comprehensive digital agriculture ecosystem<\/b><\/p>\n

Under the agreement, Nafoods and FPT agreed to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership with the shared goal of sustainable development, accompanying each other on the digital transformation journey through data utilization and the application of artificial intelligence (AI). The partnership aims to position Nafoods as a pioneering group in the application of digital technologies and a leader in high-tech agriculture in Vietnam. On this basis, the two parties will work together to build and develop a comprehensive digital ecosystem for Nafoods by applying technology, data, and Made by FPT digital transformation solutions across the entire agricultural value chain from crop research and development, agricultural production and processing, to product distribution and consumption.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accordingly, FPT will provide consultancy and work alongside Nafoods to develop a comprehensive digital transformation strategy tailored to the characteristics of a large-scale agricultural enterprise, operating across multiple farmlands and markets, and managing a complex supply chain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nafoods Group is one of Vietnam\u2019s leading agricultural enterprises, with more than 30 years of experience in developing a digitized, green, and sustainable agricultural value chain. The group operates a closed-loop supply chain model covering plant breeding, raw material area development, production and processing, as well as the trading and export of agricultural products. Currently, Nafoods owns and cooperates in the development of tens of thousands of hectares of raw material zones nationwide, operates large-scale agricultural processing plants, and exports products to 70 countries, particularly key markets such as Asia – Pacific, Europe, the United States, and Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The strong commitment to digital transformation affirms Nafoods\u2019 vision and marks an important milestone in its development roadmap. Through this effort, the company also demonstrates its pioneering role in the agricultural sector, concretizing major orientations of the Party and the State, particularly Resolution No. 57-NQ\/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. The initiative aims to build a modern and transparent governance model across the entire agricultural value chain, creating a foundation for sustainable development and enhancing international integration capacity<\/span><\/p>\n

Building the foundation for digital transformation<\/b><\/p>\n

With farming areas and processing plants spread across the country, along with a global export market, Nafoods must manage large volumes of data across a multi-variable agricultural value chain, while also meeting stringent requirements for traceability from official export markets. This creates an urgent need for a centralized, transparent, and real-time management platform to serve as the foundation for standardized governance,growing scale, and sustainable development<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the event, Nafoods and FPT – SAP\u2019s Gold Partner in Vietnam, officially launched the implementation of the SAP S\/4HANA Public Cloud project. The SAP ERP system is identified as the core digital platform, marking a significant milestone in the company\u2019s journey toward establishing a centralized, modern, data-driven governance model. Specifically, Nafoods and FPT will deploy the ERP system with modules covering comprehensive needs across sales operations, finance and accounting, quality management, and supply chain management, enabling digitalization, operational reporting, and project management on a unified, real-time platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, FPT will directly integrate and deploy the FPT Smart Farm application for Nafoods, enabling the centralized connection and management of data related to cultivation areas, production, logistics, and markets on a unified platform. The solution allows Nafoods to monitor farming data in real time, optimize the operations of cooperative farming areas nationwide, and support forecasting of yield, quality, and consumption demand. It also enhances traceability capabilities and enables transparent, efficient management of the agricultural supply chain within a single system. The solution not only helps increase the value of agricultural products for farmers, but also ensures a stable and high-quality raw material supply for Nafoods\u2019 production, targeting emerging official markets with strong potential such as China and Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Building on the data platform and traceability capabilities established through FPT Smart Farm, Nafoods will continue to collaborate with Sendo Farm, FPT Corporation\u2019s agricultural e-commerce platform to expand distribution channels for high-quality agricultural products directly to consumers. Under this collaboration, Nafoods supplies green and clean agricultural products that meet quality standards and clear traceability requirements, while Sendo Farm is responsible for market connectivity, sales operations, and fast delivery via its digital platform, contributing to the completion of a digital agricultural value chain from production to consumption.<\/span><\/p>\n

Completing comprehensive digital transformation capabilities<\/b><\/p>\n

In the next phase, Nafoods will deploy the SAP Analytics Cloud module to strengthen data analytics and business planning capabilities on the centralized data platform established in Phase 1. Specific applications within the Made by FPT ecosystem, including management reporting, financial and supply planning, e-Office, and greenhouse gas emissions monitoring will also be integrated, helping Nafoods enhance data analysis, monitor operations in real time, and develop flexible and effective business plans.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another key focus of the project is building sustainable digital transformation capabilities for Nafoods. FPT and Nafoods will implement training programs for leadership and staff on digital and data governance, AI application, and innovation. Through these initiatives, the two parties aim to gradually establish a strong internal technology team capable of mastering the systems and expanding digital transformation projects in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n
