FPT has officially completed the acceptance and handover of the project titled \u201cUpgrade of the FPT.EMS Software \u2013 Integration of Ramon with the FPT.EMS Accounting System\u201d for Vina Kyoei Steel Co., Ltd., following nearly one month of stable system operation. The project was implemented across four key departments, continuing a more than 10-year journey during which the FPT.EMS system has been effectively operated and continuously enhanced within the company.<\/b><\/p>\n

FPT.EMS is an integrated enterprise management software solution, covering key modules such as procurement, production, warehouse management, logistics, sales, and finance & accounting. Building on the existing system, this upgrade focuses on integrating an automated scrap evaluation system powered by Ramon\u2019s AI camera technology, thereby enhancing automation levels and optimizing operational processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The FPT project team overcame multiple coordination challenges to successfully deliver the project on schedule<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The project was initiated to address the limitations of the previous scrap evaluation process, which was largely manual and heavily dependent on human input, resulting in time inefficiencies and inconsistent outcomes. Accordingly, the project aimed to fully automate the end-to-end process\u2014from input to output\u2014minimizing manual intervention and improving overall operational efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following deployment, the system has delivered significant practical benefits. The automated scrap evaluation process helps reduce errors while improving data accuracy and reliability. Processing time has been significantly shortened, contributing to resource savings and increased productivity. At the same time, reducing manual workload enables staff to focus on higher-value activities. Real-time, accurate scrap data also enhances management, monitoring, and supports more informed business decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n

During implementation, the project faced challenges in coordination and communication among different teams. To address this, regular alignment meetings were held between the development teams of both systems to update progress, exchange information, and promptly resolve emerging issues\u2014ensuring both project timeline and quality.<\/span><\/p>\n
