During the ceremony, VNMPW\/CC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FPT Corporation, marking an important milestone in strengthening Vietnam&#8217;s semiconductor ecosystem and enhancing the country&#8217;s capabilities in semiconductor research, prototyping, and manufacturing. The partnership represents a significant step toward realizing the vision of mastering the &#8220;Make in Vietnam&#8221; semiconductor value chain, in line with Resolution No. 57-NQ\/TW.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Vietnam National Multi-Project Wafer Coordination Center (VNMPW\/CC) is a public service institution under the Authority of Information Technology Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology. Established to address one of Vietnam&#8217;s key bottlenecks in semiconductor prototyping, the Center serves as a bridge connecting chip design, prototype fabrication, testing, validation, and commercialization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Its mission includes coordinating semiconductor research and design projects from universities, research institutes, enterprises, and startups; connecting domestic and international wafer fabrication plants, packaging, and testing partners; and supporting prototype production through the Multi-Project Wafer (MPW) model. FPT representatives, together with distinguished experts from leading technology companies, universities, and research institutes in Vietnam and abroad, will provide strategic guidance and deep technical expertise to support the Center as well as domestic universities, research institutions, and enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the accompanying exhibition, FPT showcased its Power IC, a flagship product within the Make in Vietnam \u2013 Made by FPT semiconductor ecosystem. The chip has successfully completed comprehensive evaluations covering electrical performance, operational stability, load capacity, and reliability testing in accordance with JEDEC standards. The corporation has established the FPT High-Tech &amp; Semiconductor Center in Da Nang and the Vietnam Semiconductor Incubation &amp; Innovation Center (V.S.I.C) in Hanoi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A major milestone was achieved in December 2025, when FPT became the first Vietnamese enterprise to commercially export semiconductor chips to Japan, reinforcing Vietnam&#8217;s position within the global semiconductor value chain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In early 2026, FPT established the FPT Advanced Semiconductor Testing and Packaging Factory, further strengthening the country&#8217;s semiconductor supply chain and contributing to Vietnam&#8217;s strategic objectives of mastering core and sovereign technologies under Resolution No. 57-NQ\/TW, Decision No. 1131\/QD-TTg, and Decision No. 1018\/QD-TTg, while enabling deeper participation in the global semiconductor supply chain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beyond semiconductors, FPT is making long-term strategic investments in five core technology domains: Quantum AI, Cybersecurity, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Data Technologies, and Railway Technologies.
