FPT participated in Semiconductor Industry Exhibition Tokyo 2026, held from June 10 to 12 at Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center in Japan. The event was part of JPCA Show 2026, one of Asia\u2019s leading exhibitions for electronics, semiconductors, IC design, packaging, and electronics manufacturing technologies.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

At the exhibition, FPT introduced the message \u201cChip Make in Vietnam, Made by FPT,\u201d reaffirming its capabilities to participate in the global semiconductor supply chain from Vietnam. FPT also showcased IC design solutions, engineering services across the chip value chain, as well as AI, cloud computing, and digital transformation applications serving the high-tech industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the event, Mr. Murakami Masahiro, Director of Presales Consulting, Semiconductor Division, FPT Japan, FPT Corporation, delivered a presentation on Vietnam\u2019s semiconductor industry development policies and FPT\u2019s strategic direction for implementation. The session took place on the afternoon of June 12 and focused on clarifying national-level policies and how enterprises can translate these policies into practical implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to FPT\u2019s representative, Vietnam is transitioning from a model focused on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) toward building a comprehensive semiconductor ecosystem that integrates human resources, design, manufacturing, and testing. This provides a foundation for domestic companies to participate more deeply in the global value chain.<\/span><\/p>\n

FPT is currently developing key capabilities across chip design through FPT Semiconductor, semiconductor testing and packaging, and large-scale talent development. The company plans to put its semiconductor testing and packaging factory in Bac Ninh into operation from 2026, while targeting the training of 10,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n
