Industry 4.0 is creating new momentum and opportunities for Vietnamese organizations and companies to promote digital transformation. Companies need to be aware of the increasingly important role of digital transformation and therefore must “transform” themselves to catch up with the trend. In order to promote digital transformation in Vietnam, the Prime Minister has issued Decision No. 749\/QD-TTg dated June 3, 2020 on “Program for National Digital Transformation by 2025, with orientations towards 2030\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, despite having been facilitated to the maximum favourable extent, many organizations and companies have yet “struggled” with digital transformation. A remarkable number of companies start their transformation journey by proceeding to selecting and procuring products and solutions right away without analyzing and determining their needs and problems. Instead of being immersed in leading digital solutions or services, FPT recommends organizations and companies understand that digital transformation must originate from digital culture within the organization\/company. Digital culture should be seen as the core of successful digital transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n

In \u201cInnovative thinking – Transform yourself, transform digitally” talk session of a seminar themed \u201cVietnamese Young Entrepreneurs – Transform yourself, transform digitally\u201d, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, CEO of FPT Information System Co., Ltd. (FPT IS), says Vietnam is gradually transforming into an economy where no product is without \u201cdigital\u201d element. Investment into digital transformation has been continuously increasing, especially in banking and retail sectors. However, the rate of failure in digital transformation is significantly high, around 76%, even for large companies, if the investment lacks appropriate thinking and direction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
