On January 5, FPT Information System Co., Ltd (FPT IS) has become official partner to build a Business Intelligence system (BI) for Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO 2), aiming to boost operational and business efficiency. So far, this is considered the largest Tableau BI project at Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN).<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the agreement between the parties, FPT IS will assist in building an operation reporting system based on Tableau BI software for 12 functional departments and 10 member units of EVNGENCO 2.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the seminar on “Digital Transformation – From theory to practice” jointly organized by FPT IS and EVNGENCO 2 in October 2021, we have learned more about the role of digital transformation and the way to proceed. Accordingly, we have identified that building the operation reporting system is one of the key tasks to be fulfilled in 2022″, said Mr. Truong Hoang Vu, General Director of EVNGENCO 2.<\/p>\n

Mr. Vu also says, currently, reports on business and production situation at EVNGENCO 2 are presented in a fairly monotonous way, and data collection often takes a long time. Via this project, Mr. Vu expects a smart, intuitive and visible reporting system based on advanced technologies, in which data is constantly updated and integrated with EVN Corporation’s software systems, allowing the Board to timely access to the operational situation of the Corporation.\"0110<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe, with the capability and experience of implementing various major IT systems at EVN, including the Tableau BI system for EVNGENCO 3 and EVNHCMC, FPT IS will again deploy the operation reporting system at EVNGENCO 2 successfully and on timely schedule”, Mr. Truong Hoang Vu affirms.<\/p>\n
