The Electronic Customs Management System was deployed at the General Department of Vietnam Customs and across import-export enterprises following the Prime Minister’s pilot initiative on e-Customs. The system was introduced to simplify administrative procedures, shorten customs clearance time, and thereby reduce operational costs for businesses.
The system includes the following core modules:
- Declaration receipt and automated channel classification
- Detailed electronic dossier inspection
- Physical goods inspection
- Reporting and inquiry functions
- System administration
The platform was deployed nationwide across all customs departments down to branch-office level.
