Vinphaco elevates data-driven management with SAP S/4HANA implemented by FPT IS

Vinh Phuc Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Vinphaco) is one of Vietnam’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers with more than 60 years of development. The company specializes in pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, cosmetics, and medical supplies, and is a leading producer of injectable drugs in Vietnam.

CHALLENGE

As Vinphaco expanded its production scale and operations, the legacy management system could no longer support the company’s growth and digital transformation goals. The business needed a modern management platform to improve operational efficiency, optimize resources, and support faster decision-making.

SOLUTION

Vinphaco partnered with FPT IS to implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition together with integrated “Made by FPT” solutions.

The project included ERP modules such as:

• Materials Management (MM)
• Production Planning (PP)
• Quality Management (QM)
• Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO)
• Sales & Distribution (SD)

FPT also deployed FPT Mobile Apps for medical representatives, delivery staff, and customers, along with FPT.eInvoice integrated with e-Banking services.

RESULT

• Revenue in the first 10 months of 2024 reached VND 660 billion, up 8% year-over-year.
• Improved production efficiency with a modern manufacturing line expected to become Vietnam’s largest freeze-dried injectable drug facility.
