On June 3, 2020, Vietnamese Prime Minister signed Decision No. 749/QĐ-TTg, approving the “National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030”, which identified Healthcare as one of the first priority areas in digital transformation. Engaging as a technology company in addressing intractable problems in the Healthcare industry, FPT IS understands that digital transformation acceleration is the key solution to reduce burdens and pressures effectively and synchronously, enabling digital technology to bring happiness to people.

Main features

Smart hospital management system FPT.eHospital 2.0+ inherits all the strengths of the previous FPT Hospital software while having evolved with the current 4.0 industrial revolution with SoA architecture, centralized data, IoT/Mobile, portal with open data, big data analytics/artificial intelligence integration, enabling the expansion of healthcare solutions targeting telehealth and smart healthcare.

Of these, HIS and LIS are the most important information systems, followed by PACS and operating, control systems that support decision-making and are linked with external equipment and systems such as insurance, banks, other hospitals, Departments of Health and Ministry of Health of Vietnam. The solution is divided into 12 software groups with functional subsystems for overall management and interlinking of all business processes in hospitals.

PACS receives processed medical images from the doctor’s workstation
PACS coverts medical images from DICOM to JPEG formats and transfers them to the RIS system. RIS then sends these images in JPEG format to the HIS system for storage to complete medical records

Cho Ray Hospital

Established in 1900, Cho Ray Hospital is one of the largest general hospitals in Vietnam directly under the Central Government. The hospital currently includes 35 clinical departments, 11 paraclinical departments, 8 functional departments with a capacity of 2,000+ beds, 2,500 inpatients/day, 3,500 outpatients/day and 3,300 employees.

Bach Mai Hospital

Founded in 1911, Bach Mai Hospital is one of the largest multi-disciplinary healthcare facilities in Vietnam. The hospital plays an important role in the Vietnamese healthcare system and is one of three highly specialized medical centers, specializing in internal medicine.
