FPT accompanies Hai Duong province towards digital government transformation, digital economy, and digital society
On March 26, 2022, as a partner accompanying Hai Duong province from the first days of digital transformation, FPT Corporation has been invited to the “Digital Transformation Day of Hai Duong province” organized by the People’s Committee of the province. At the event, the company has been honored and granted a commemorative award for its effort in assisting the province in deploying Software for managing patients with COVID-19 at home. Also at the event, Hai Duong Department of Industry and Trade has signed a trade promotion agreement with SENDO e-commerce platform.
2022 marks the first year the Digital Transformation Day of Hai Duong province is held, with the theme of “Digital transformation to realize Hai Duong’s aspirations for development”. This is an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation relationship in information technology and communications development of the province with central agencies, other provinces/cities, as well as partners and enterprises in order to gradually implement digital transformation, aiming towards socio-economic development. The event is attended by leaders of the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province, leaders of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the province, representatives of IT companies, businesses, and people in the area.
At the event, FPT Corporation is honored and granted a commemorative award for its effort in assisting the province in deploying Software of managing patients with COVID-19 at home, making an important contribution to the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic in the province. Specifically, the company has installed the system and conducted relevant training for Hai Duong Department of Health, 12 district/town health facilities, district/town facilities for collecting and treating COVID-19 patients, and 235 commune/ward/town medical stations from mid-February 2022. As of March 26, 2022, 227,000 patients in the province have been monitored on the system, enhancing the control of the COVID-19 pandemic of the province, reducing overcrowding at upper-level hospitals and improving the quality of patient care and treatment.

Also at the event, Hai Duong Department of Industry and Trade has signed a trade promotion agreement with SENDO e-commerce platform to promote agricultural products of the province. Previously, during the complicated developments of the pandemic from March to May 2021, SENDO has cooperated with Hai Duong and local business households to carry out campaigns to boost consumption of local agricultural products.

The system of Socio-economic information center is built on Big Data to analyze and forecast indicators in socio-economic activities of the province, allowing local leaders to make timely and accurate decisions. Besides, the Smart healthcare ecosystem, developed by FPT during more than 20 years of accompanying the healthcare industry, has been in effective use in more than 300 hospitals and 6 Departments of Health nationwide.
In the booth for corporate digital transformation solutions, FPT has presented FPT Cloud solution, FPT.eContract electronic contract, FPT.eInvoice electronic invoice, FPT Digital Accounting – solution for automatic extraction of purchase invoice data, etc. The solutions have been researched and developed by FPT based on practical needs with an aim to build a paperless business model, offering enterprises with reduced cost and enhanced competitiveness.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Pham Xuan Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council of Hai Duong province affirms that, in the past two years, Hai Duong province has been more than determined to promote digital transformation strategy since digital transformation is considered the “golden key” to open up strong growth opportunities.
So far, Hai Duong has achieved a number of remarkable results, such as: increased awareness of digital transformation; effective control the COVID-19 pandemic with digital transformation; sharp increase in consumption of local agricultural products in both domestic and foreign markets, achieving 2 times the revenue comparing to 2020 by implementing digital technologies; and enterprises in the area gradually becoming proactive pioneers in digital transformation. FPT Corporation is, therefore, more than proud to accompany the province since the first days of its digital transformation journey.
Previously on August 24, 2021, Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee and FPT Corporation have signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the period of 2021-2025. According to the agreement, FPT Corporation will support and advise Hai Duong province to develop and implement mechanisms, policies, programs and plans on digital transformation; coordinate and propose solutions to enhance provincial competitive index (PCI), digital transformation index (DTI), public administration reform (PAR) index of the province, etc. Besides, FPT will also assess the current status of the province, advise on the planning, architecture, overall model of digital transformation and smart city; assist the province in promoting the development of digital economy, digital society, and digital transformation for enterprises and households; conduct relevant training programs; review and implement a pilot smart city model in an urban area in the province, etc.
