FPT IS and Cisco introduce the future of AI applications in data analysis
On October 9, FPT IS and Cisco jointly held the workshop “FPT IS – CISCO Technology Day – Greater Together” to introduce and discuss the future application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in data center infrastructure, information security assistant, and how to digitize the remote working environment.
The workshop was attended by Mr. Le Van Hoang Trung, Director of Service Consulting at FPT IS; Mr. Dang Hong Minh, Senior Systems Engineer at Cisco Systems; Mr. Tuan Nguyen, Security Specialist at Cisco, and IT staff at FPT Software.
Mr. Dang Hong Minh opened the topic of AI data center by introducing the “AI-ready Data Centers” solution, designed to connect and collect data from various sources, and perform and give analysis and predictions of possible future incidents accordingly. This requires investment in flexibly scalable infrastructure to enable easier and quicker implementation of AI models.

Covering the next topic of AI applications in the digital age, Mr. Tuan Nguyen introduced “AI Powered Cisco Security”, a cybersecurity solution powered by AI assistant, proposed for optimization of security rules formulation to ensure users and devices safety wherever they are. In addition, the AI assistant is designed to quickly issue warnings and give suggestions for next steps in the event of an incident, offering enterprises effective information security support.

For the AI application trends in today’s working environment, Mr. Le Van Hoang Trung gave a presentation themed “Build Digital Workplace in Campus”, which is also the name of a solution suite that offers approach to employee title-based access authorization with strong collaboration experience and no negative impact on security. This allows employees to work without limitations on locations while guaranteeing their work efficiency and absolute protection of data on user devices. The solution is considered an optimal choice for businesses who plan to develop a hybrid working model that blends remote and in-office work. Their strategy aims to reduce resource consumption and operating costs while maintaining productivity and work efficiency at desired levels.
