FPT IS is chosen as the security service provider for TeamT5
On the afternoon of May 23, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS), Netpoleon Vietnam, and TeamT5 – the leading security company in Southeast Asia – have jointly held a seminar to introduce the most up-to-date, advanced security solutions. The event is attended by leaders and representatives from various organizations and businesses, such as the Vietnam Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, BIDV Metlife, Lotte Finance Vietnam, EVN, PVI…
Opening the seminar, Mr. Bui Duy Khanh – Head of Cyber Security Business Development Group, FPT IS – has spoken of the importance of information security in Vietnam in the current context. Mr. Khanh also expects that the event will be an opportunity for the guests to discuss current cybersecurity issues, thereby opening opportunities for cooperation and collaboration between businesses and organizations.
Mr. Bui Duy Khanh speaks at the event.
On behalf of TeamT5, Mr. John Lu discusses two current major attack methods in Vietnam, i.e, ransomware attacks and APT attacks on state agencies, organizations, businesses, or attacks on individual users to penetrate the systems.
With the advantages in terms of language, culture, outstanding tech capacity, and extensive expertise regarding cyber espionage activities in the Asia-Pacific region, especially APT groups originating from China, TeamT5 currently provides 2 leading solutions to address the mentioned issues, namely Threat Hunting (also known as Threat Sonar) and Threat Intelligence (aka Threat Vision), thereby helping businesses and organizations proactively protect endpoint devices. The solutions use heuristic techniques and Yara rules, offering a new way to fight cyber threats.
Mr. John Lu presents TeamT5’s security solutions.
On behalf of FPT IS, Mr. Tran Chi Dung – Security expert – presents the Compromise Assessment and Threat Hunting solutions. According to Mr. Dung, Compromise Assessment and Threat Hunting are both the solutions to locate threats in the systems. However, Threat Hunting is a proactive approach to identify unknown threats, while Compromise Assessment is a method of reacting to known threats.
Mr. Dung also points out three issues that businesses and organizations often encounter when they implement security solutions, i.e, lack of human resources for the implementation, incomplete implementation, and huge amount of time needed for the implementation. Mr. Dung affirms that with the extensive capacity and experience proven by successful case studies with hundreds of customers in Vietnam, FPT IS is confident that the Compromise Assessment and Threat Hunting solutions provided by the company can properly address the three issues mentioned above.
After the discussion session, Mr. Bui Duy Khanh represents FPT IS to receive a commemorative medal and certificate as the security service provider of TeamT5. Accordingly, FPT IS and TeamT5 will collaborate to provide the most advanced security solutions to the customers.
