FPT IS proposes a strategy to accelerate digital transformation for Hai Phong city
During the two days of December 26 – 27, at Hai Phong city’s Digital Transformation Forum in 2023 themed “Creating digital data – The foundation for socio-economic development”, city leaders and technology experts from FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) have discussed solutions and strategic directions that help to accelerate the digital transformation process of Hai Phong city. Besides, FPT IS have also presented an ecosystem of outstanding digital solutions, closely aligned with the digital transformation of the city.
At the strategic consultation session on Digital transformation – Digital data for Hai Phong city, Mr. Tran Huu Tai – Director of Digital Government Solutions Consulting, FPT IS – suggests that the city should consider a strategy to develop data for a number of key sectors by stages. The city should identify sectors of which data development is a priority, and focus on areas where the city expects to be able to operate and manage based on data.

Monitoring the session on “Digital transformation and Digital data exploitation in the healthcare sector”, Ms. Bui Nguyen Phuong Chau – EVP & Chief Operations Officer, FPT IS – has discussed with leading experts in the sector regarding the current challenges and problems of the city, thereby determining development goals and relevant solutions. Ms. Chau emphasizes that the leader plays a very important role and needs to grasp the benefits of digital transformation to seize opportunities in an appropriate manner. The city also needs to replicate successfully deployed healthcare digital transformation models to accelerate the transformation process in Hai Phong, for example, the Electronic medical record system for Hai Phong International Hospital – the first hospital in the country appraised and approved by the Ministry of Health for implementing electronic medical records. Finally, addressing the problems of resources and funds will help the city make great leaps in digital healthcare transformation in the coming future.
