FPT signs first EMR Cloud contract with HCMC Oncology Hospital
FPT has officially signed a contract to provide Electronic Medical Record Cloud (EMR Cloud) services to Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, sponsored by VietinBank – Branch 7, Ho Chi Minh City. As the first EMR Cloud project to be deployed, this initiative marks a key milestone in FPT’s journey to support the healthcare sector’s digital transformation. The solution is a vital component of the AZLadin ecosystem, reinforcing FPT’s commitment to advancing smart healthcare in Vietnam.
The project will be implemented over a 12-month period across both campuses (Facility 1 and Facility 2) of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital. The EMR Cloud system is designed to fully comply with professional regulations outlined in Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT. It also integrates digital signatures and seamlessly connects with other health IT systems such as HIS, LIS, and PACS, ensuring interoperability, data standardization, and robust security for medical information.

The system rollout brings clear benefits to the hospital and delivers meaningful value to stakeholders across the broader healthcare ecosystem. For the hospital, it represents a significant leap toward comprehensive medical record digitization, enabling faster, more accurate access, processing, and sharing of health data. The system helps streamline professional workflows and reduce administrative burdens for doctors and medical staff, enhancing treatment efficiency and patient care. From the patient’s perspective, the healthcare experience becomes quicker, more transparent, and more convenient. As for the project sponsor, supporting digital transformation in healthcare reflects a strong sense of social responsibility and a long-term sustainable development vision.
This project results from FPT’s persistent efforts to pursue collaboration opportunities and earn trust from the hospital and VietinBank. More than just a partnership agreement, it is a clear testament to FPT’s capabilities in delivering end-to-end digital healthcare solutions. It also marks a significant first step in the roadmap to scale EMR Cloud initiatives across Vietnam in the near future.
Committed to accompanying the healthcare sector on its path toward innovation and modernization, FPT views hospital digital transformation not only as an urgent need but also as a mission aligned with Resolution 57-NQ/TW, which emphasizes breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. FPT will continue to work closely with medical institutions across the country to develop practical, effective, and sustainable technology solutions – contributing to the foundation of a smart healthcare system where technology plays a central role in enhancing the quality of patient care and meeting the evolving needs of future digital citizens.
