FPT welcomes U.S. Consulate General to High-Tech and Semiconductor R&D Center in Da Nang
Recently, FPT Corporation welcomed a delegation from the U.S. Consulate General to visit and work at its High-Tech and Semiconductor R&D Center in Da Nang. The visit reflects the United States’ growing interest in Vietnam’s technological capabilities and its potential role in the global semiconductor value chain, while also opening up opportunities for cooperation in high-tech sectors.
A delegation from the U.S. Consulate General visited and worked at FPT’s R&D center for high technology and semiconductor chips in Da Nang.
The delegation included representatives from the Economic Department, Ms. Annie Ahrendsen, and Mr. Matthew S. Jamrisko from the U.S. Embassy. The visit underscores the United States’ increasing attention to Vietnam’s development capacity and its collaboration potential in the semiconductor industry.
The two sides held discussions on future strategic cooperation opportunities.
As part of the program, Mr. Nguyen Cao Thanh – Head Representative of FPT Semiconductor Da Nang under FPT Corporation, presented an overview of the company’s development strategy, technological direction, and practical experience in participating more deeply in the global semiconductor value chain. These insights highlighted the increasingly important role of Vietnamese enterprises within the international technology ecosystem.
Notably, both sides engaged in an open discussion session focusing on future strategic collaboration opportunities. The session not only opened up potential avenues for connection but also contributed to strengthening bilateral cooperation in high-tech and semiconductor fields.
FPT showcased its capabilities in semiconductor research and chip design, along with its strategic direction to deepen participation in the global semiconductor value chain.
The visit marks an important step forward for FPT Corporation in its pursuit of mastering core technologies and expanding international partnerships, while further affirming Vietnam’s growing position on the global semiconductor industry map.
