FPT’s solution ecosystem brings practical value to life, advancing the implementation of Project 06
Hanoi, December 18 – At the Government Office, FPT participated in the exhibition marking four years of the implementation of Project 06, themed “Project 06: Building the National Digital Lifeline and Advancing the Implementation of Resolution 57.” At the exhibition, FPT showcased its comprehensive ecosystem of technology solutions and innovative models designed to serve citizens, businesses, and government agencies, along with proposals for implementation in the 2026–2030 period.
The exhibition took place within the framework of a conference reviewing one year of the Government’s action program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, five years of the National Master Program on State Administrative Reform, and four years of Project 06. The event gathered more than 200 delegates, including leaders of the Government, the Ministry of Public Security, Department C06, and representatives from enterprises and educational institutions. The program highlighted the four-year journey of Project 06, underscoring its practical applications while outlining the development vision for 2026–2030, thereby reaffirming Project 06’s pivotal role in driving digital transformation and socio-economic development.
FPT was among the outstanding enterprises presenting technological applications and tangible results that have helped bring Project 06 into real-world practice. These applications span public services, digital identity and authentication, banking and finance, education, digital healthcare, and smart public transportation—demonstrating FPT’s capabilities in data integration and comprehensive, end-to-end technology deployment.
FPT Group leaders introduce solution models to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates
Introducing the models to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, CEO of FPT IS, FPT Corporation, shared: “FPT is proud and honored to have accompanied the Government’s Project 06 from its earliest days, developing practical application models that have transformed how the Government connects and interacts with citizens. These models have delivered tangible results, including: more than 400,000 senior citizens using chip-based ID cards to travel on Ho Chi Minh City’s Metro Line 1; 30 million ID card–based authentication transactions in banking and financial services; nearly 500,000 VNeID accounts connected to Ho Chi Minh City’s Digital Citizen application; 130,000 candidates authenticated via ID cards for the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology’s aptitude-based examinations; 120,000 citizens served via VNeID when purchasing medicines online through Long Châu Pharmacy; the National Legal Portal being connected to VNeID for the first time; and 200 hospitals nationwide applying ID card–based identification in medical examination and treatment.”
In the field of digital identity, FPT’s transaction authentication solution using chip-based ID cards connects directly to the National Population Database, helping standardize user identities and enhance transparency and security in financial transactions and public services, while reducing processing time by up to 70%. FPT also introduced a kiosk-based ID card authentication model for aptitude-based examinations, which helps ensure transparency, prevent fraud, optimize costs, time, and resources, and improve examination quality across sectors, while providing valuable data for management and governance.
At the same time, FPT presented a mobile identity authentication solution designed for on-the-go environments. The solution integrates NFC chip reading, biometric authentication, and real-time matching with the Ministry of Public Security’s systems, enabling authentication via chip-based ID cards, facial recognition, and fingerprints in just over one second—both online and offline. Centrally managed via a CMS platform, the solution enhances operational efficiency while ensuring public security and order. Notably, 100% of the core chips used in these products are designed by Vietnamese engineers, demonstrating strong domestic capabilities in semiconductor research and development—one of the strategic sectors prioritized by the Government.
FPT’s integrated solutions for digital identity authentication and ID card–based transactions
In digital healthcare, FPT’s solutions illustrate how data and technology are reshaping community healthcare delivery. By connecting and analyzing data from pharmacy chains such as FPT Long Châu, VNeID-authenticated transactions, and the National Population Database, FPT helps form Vietnam’s epidemiological and pharmaceutical substance maps, enabling real-time monitoring of public health. In addition, FPT applies AI to healthcare utilities, including an AI Camera solution capable of measuring blood pressure without specialized equipment, achieving up to 95% accuracy. This feature is expected to be integrated free of charge into the Long Châu application, enabling citizens to proactively monitor their health on a daily basis.
At Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien), chip-based ID cards have been used for the first time to replace traditional tickets, supporting cashless payments and generating data for traffic management and smart urban development. By scanning ID cards at entry gates, passengers can travel conveniently without paper tickets or magnetic cards—enhancing transparency and laying the foundation for a public transportation ecosystem built on a unified digital identity.

Alongside these initiatives, the Digital Citizen application was introduced as a platform connecting citizens with government authorities, consolidating digital identity accounts, ensuring secure authentication, and enabling comprehensive access to urban digital services. The National Legal Portal, integrated into VNeID, further expands public access to legal information in a transparent, user-friendly, and interactive manner.
