ABBANK chooses FPT IS to deploy General Ledger Software (GL)
On the morning of July 17, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK) have officially kicked off a project to implement General Ledger Software (GL), with an aim to improve the efficiency of financial and accounting management, transform the work processes, and enhance data analysis capabilities at the bank.
Deploying the GL software is one of ABBANK’s key projects in 2023. Delivering an opening speech, Mr. Do Lam Dien – Deputy General Director of ABBANK – says: “Digital transformation and the adoption of technologies play an important role to help ABBANK secure data sources for business, meet the increasing requirements of customers, thereby strongly promoting business growth. I expect that FPT IS and ABBANK together will maintain the enthusiasm and dedication to ensure the progress and quality of the project, so that the system can soon be put into operation”.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Luong – Member of the Board of ABBANK – emphasizes: “Deploying GL software is a stepping stone for ABBANK to integrate and catch up with global accounting trends. With data automation and standardization, the new system will allow ABBANK to easily search for data, meanwhile reducing time and errors”.
The cooperation between ABBANK and FPT IS is expected to help the bank improve the efficiency of financial and accounting management.

The GL project will be implemented by FPT IS for the head office and all branches of ABBANK. The software includes 4 modules: General Ledger (GL); Account Payable/Receivable (APR); Financial Accounting (FA); Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
