The system delivers an inter-connected, advanced, and professional working environment for the province as digital signature and electronic documents are applied at all agencies and administrative procedures are 100% digitalized.
According to statistics, the e-Government system has helped reduce people’s travel time by 40% to implement a procedure and save 30 billion VND/year in terms of administrative costs.
With the acquired results, Quang Ninh has been seen as a typical e-Government model, leading the country in terms of PCI index for 6 consecutive years (2017 – 2022), leading 63 provinces/cities in terms of PAR INDEX for 5 years (2017 – 2022), becoming the first province to successfully connect 3 national-level systems, and winning the 2018 ASOCIO Awards – Digital Government Category given by the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO).

In addition to consulting on building and completing the e-Government architecture and shared data warehouse…, FPT IS has also deployed Data integration, Unstructured data storage, Integrated and shared data, and Data processing platforms for the city. Furthermore, FPT IS has also implemented a Smart City Operations Center for District 7 and typical information systems for the future e-District model, including the e-District systems for District 7 and Binh Tan District, as well as Digital citizen mobile applications.
In July 2020, along with the announcement on the Digital transformation program, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh city also announced the launching of “Ho Chi Minh city’s Local Government Service Platform (HCM LGSP)” implemented by FPT IS.

With the implementation of level-3 and level-4 online public services, people and businesses in the city can now carry out administrative procedures in an easier and more convenient way. In addition, the upgrade of the electronic one-stop-shop software has helped ensure the synchronization, interconnectivity, and data sharing among state agencies in the city.
The online public service system, electronic one-stop-shop software, and specialized software are closely interconnected, shared databases and shared platform services of the city are created for easy manipulation and exploitation, therefore, the management and sharing of data are synchronized between levels/sectors.
