End-to-end automation from the perspective of FPT IS and IBM Vietnam
Automation is top priority in the adoption of 4.0 technologies by enterprises and organizations, especially in financial, banking and securities industries. Accordingly, at the recent seminar on “AI-Powered End-to-End automation for the real world”, experts from FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and IBM Vietnam have offered a plan to help enterprises conduct automation to take shortcuts.

Accompanying FPT IS to organize the seminar is IBM Vietnam, a leading technology firm providing end-to-end automation solution services. At the event, IBM Vietnam has discussed a necessary transformation roadmap for enterprises, namely: Starting with digitalization, with the final destination of digital creativity, and future digital product, digital service, digital process creation.
At the most basic level, digitalization is to accumulate decentralized data and manually handled processes to a centralized platform for better management, especially for an industry with multiple complex processes (account opening, loan approval, etc.) and documents like banking industry. This is a combination of core automation technology with AI and big data processing technologies to analyze, assess and propose solutions for efficient resource management and business operation, creating a premise to develop digital labor in the future.
Also at the event, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Khang, Director of Software solutions, IBM Vietnam, has delivered a presentation on “Management of rules and policies in smart and automated business operation”. Mr Khang says, the core of a successful automation journey is to integrate AI into the automation system, which is deemed mandatory, and ’embed’ AI into policies to complete the processes.

After the process automation system is finished, security and safety issues when sending documents and files to customers also need to be addressed. IBM Sterling B2B Integration and Managed File Transfer solution, introduced by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An, IBM Vietnam’s senior specialist on smart application solution, is a key to simplify, standardize and modernize the way docs and files are transferred. With the solution, enterprises will be able to limit the risks of disclosure of confidential information and data loss during transmission, ensuring data safety and security.
With enormous experience implementing process automation projects for large banks in Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Tien Ha from FPT IS suggests enterprises to build a BPM-related architectural framework, from infrastructure to database system. Then, enterprises should select a process to test the system, and upon desired results, replicate to main processes. For each release, the system is almost error-free thanks to IBM solutions.
