Mr. Tran Tuan Anh shared his thoughts at the competition.
The High Tech University Challenge seeks to find and support students who have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to develop high-tech solutions to address real-world problems in Vietnam. 60 teams participated in the challenging competition. Additionally, this was a great chance for students from VinUniversity and FPT University to network, learn, and pitch business ideas.
Each team, which included FPT University and VinUniversity students, presented their creative solutions for applying technology to address current problems. The competition chose the four best teams from two universities that outperformed the other 60 teams to pitch their ideas to a panel of Dutch and Vietnamese industry leaders.
The competition was unique since the teams went through several quality selection rounds, including the team matching and mentorship rounds, where they were able to “renovate” their ideas with top technology and startup experts. Students also had the opportunity to interact with experts and broaden their perspectives, which improved their ideas for the project they were working on.
