FPT Among Top 5 Strongest Brands in Vietnam, Valued at Nearly 1 Billion USD
With a brand value nearing 1 billion USD, FPT was recognized among the Top 5 strongest brands in Vietnam and ranked in the Top 10 for the most prominent brand value growth at the “100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2024” awards by Brand Finance. Additionally, FPT secured a spot as the 12th most valuable brand in the country, earning high marks for its “admirable brand” and “growth” performance indexes.
Representing FPT Corporation, Ms. Mai Thi Lan Anh, Chief Communications Officer, received the award for one of Vietnam’s Top 5 Strongest Brands.
Commenting on FPT’s brand performance, Mr. Alex Haigh, Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia Pacific, stated: “This year, FPT achieved an impressive 67% growth in brand value. The brand also elevated its Brand Strength Index (BSI) score to 86.9 out of 100, placing it among Vietnam’s Top 5 strongest brands. Brand Finance’s research shows that FPT is highly regarded for its strong reputation and admired brand status. Its adoption of advanced technology and robust global presence are key drivers cementing FPT’s leadership on the international stage.”

The Brand Strength Index (BSI) objectively assesses a brand’s performance, evaluated across key metrics such as brand awareness, loyalty, and market share.
FPT ranks in Vietnam’s Top 10 for largest brand value growth, with a 67% increase from 2023, reaching around 1 billion USD.
Brand Finance’s assessment of the results was based on feedback from over 100,000 individuals globally, including more than 25,000 from the Asia Pacific region, regarding business brands. Brand value is determined by analyzing public opinion and the company’s financial data, reflecting both short-term performance and long-term growth potential.
Technology companies consistently dominate the global rankings of the most valuable brands. For instance, in Brand Finance’s Top 10 Most Valuable Brands, five technology firms—led by Apple, Microsoft, and Google—are included. Similarly, Kantar’s rankings feature seven technology companies in their Top 10.
FPT increased by 12.5 BSI points and was ranked in Vietnam’s top 5 strongest brands.
Over the past three years, FPT has consistently maintained a return on equity (ROE) exceeding 25%. As of October 10, 2024, the Corporation’s market capitalization stands at 8.4 billion USD. For 2024, FPT aims to achieve revenues of 61,850 billion VND and a pre-tax profit of 10,875 billion VND, reflecting an approximate 18% increase year-over-year. In the first eight months of this year, FPT reported revenues of 39,664 billion VND and a pre-tax profit of 7,077 billion VND, marking increases of 20.8% and 19.9%, respectively. This growth is bolstered by significant global projects, highlighting the rising demand for technology investment and reinforcing FPT’s strong market position and capabilities.
For the past 36 years, FPT has consistently led the way in new technology trends while expanding its global footprint, significantly enhancing its brand value and contributing to Vietnam’s economic and social development. In 2023, after 25 years of globalization, FPT achieved a landmark milestone of 1 billion USD in IT service revenue from foreign markets, joining the ranks of global billion-dollar IT service enterprises. Digital transformation services account for approximately 50% of this revenue. Recently, FPT has opened new offices in Germany, Sweden, Japan, India, and South Korea, creating new opportunities to engage potential customers in high-growth sectors such as healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, energy, and banking and finance, as well as green transformation.
