FPT and CBF Pharma officially launch the SAP B1 project for the Vientiane branch
On December 9th, FPT and CBF Pharma officially launched the new phase of their digital transformation project, expanding the SAP Business One (SAP B1) system and FPT Smart Cloud (FCI) infrastructure for one of CBF Pharma’s four subsidiaries.

Accordingly, FPT has upgraded the SAP B1 system to the latest version 10.0 and integrated the feature for automatically generating reports in the format required by the Lao tax authorities. This upgrade will help the company units save time and effort in preparing reports while ensuring full compliance with current regulations.
50 users at the CBF Vientiane branch in Laos have completed the initial operations on SAP B1, using data from modules including Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Production, and Human Resources.
During the launch ceremony, Mr. Sangvone Phankeo, a representative from CBF Pharma, shared: “We would like to express our gratitude to FPT for supporting the timely implementation of the project at the Vientiane branch in such a short period. In the upcoming phase, CBF will definitely need continued support from FPT to ensure smooth operations for other units under CBF Pharma in 2025.”
Once the system is operational, CBF Pharma and its subsidiaries will experience a modern enterprise management platform. The SAP B1 system helps the business minimize manual tasks, saving time and human resources by automating processes. Additionally, the system supports the business in improving the quality of reports by providing detailed and accurate reports to support decision-making, enhance transparency in management, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Thus, within just two months of initiation, FPT successfully implemented the SAP B1 system for the first subsidiary at the CBF Vientiane branch, further solidifying its Be Global position and opening up cooperation opportunities in Laos to build a strong digital ecosystem, especially in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. In the next phase, FPT will continue to provide a 6-month warranty to ensure the stable and efficient operation of the system for the Vientiane branch.
