FPT builds schools, gives love to children in Binh Phuoc

On March 30 in Binh Phuoc, FPT People’s Fund for the Community and the Hope Fund have jointly held an inauguration ceremony of Village 6 sub-school – Hoa Mai kindergarten – and presented learning equipment to the pupils of To Vinh Dien primary school. The Village 6 sub-school project, funded by FPT Corporation, is newly built with a total amount of more than one billion VND.

Village 6 sub-school has a total area of 115 m2, including 1 classroom, 1 teacher’s room, 2 toilets. This is one of four sub-schools of Hoa Mai kindergarten, which currently has 376 pupils, many of those are from the S’tieng, Tay, and Nung ethnic groups.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh – President of the Hope Fund – says: “I hope the new school will energize the teachers and pupils on the journey to conquer the knowledge, thereby arousing the spirit and aspiration to rise. Meanwhile, with the new school, the children will also understand that it is love and compassion which will prepare them for adolescence and adulthood”.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – CEO of FPT – says: “We expect that with FPT’s support, pupils at Hoa Mai kindergarten will have a better learning environment and receive a better education, thereby forming their own dreams and ambitions and becoming useful citizens to develop the province and the country richer and stronger”.

FPT has given more than 350 gifts to children at Hoa Mai kindergarten at the inauguration ceremony.

After Hoa Mai kindergarten, FPT delegation has visited To Vinh Dien primary school (Binh Minh commune, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province). Here, FPT has given more than 250 gifts to the pupils, including school supplies, confectionery, and 5 scholarships for 5 children with difficult circumstances but have achieved excellent learning results. Besides, the delegation has also presented 2 sets of computers, 2 televisions, and 2 bookcases to the school to assist the teachers in the teaching process.

Showing up at To Vinh Dien primary school, Mr. Tran Trung Thanh – Branch Director in Ho Chi Minh City, FPT IS – says: “The road to the school is really difficult to go, so I completely respect and appreciate the daily efforts of both the teachers and the pupils. I hope that the gifts given by FPT will contribute to encouraging the spirit of the teachers and the pupils, and partially support the teaching and learning process at the school”.
