FPT completed the acceptance testing for the Q1/2025 maintenance contract with Vietnamobile
Recently, Vietnamobile (VNM) renewed its maintenance support contract with FPT, citing the superior quality of FPT’s services. Recognized as the most responsive, dedicated, and effective support partner, FPT continues to collaborate with VNM in the operation and maintenance of its Managed Services (MS) delivery systems.
In the Q1/2025 support report, FPT addressed nearly 50 requests from Vietnamobile, encompassing technical assistance, software maintenance, and system optimization.

The maintenance services extend beyond mere incident resolution to include system upgrades, performance monitoring, and infrastructure migration to cloud platforms. FPT’s technical team operates 24/7, adhering strictly to SLA commitments, ensuring that all issues, from critical (S1 – total system outage) to minor (S4 – negligible operational impact), are resolved promptly.
On the technical front, FPT is responsible for the maintenance and support of VNM’s core systems, including the Business Support System (BSS)—the platform for managing customers, subscribers, billing, top-ups, customer care, and reporting. Additionally, FPT provides operational support and troubleshooting for the Oracle Database and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) operating systems, ensuring stability and security.
For hardware infrastructure, FPT conducts regular maintenance, replaces faulty components, and monitors performance to optimize operations. Maintenance processes are implemented following ITIL standards, with a support system comprising the Customer Response Centre (CRC), onsite support teams, and an R&D team.
A significant highlight of Q1/2025 was FPT’s successful completion of the Interconnect and International Roaming (IR) system migration to VNM’s cloud platform. This process involved upgrading the operating system to RHEL 7.9, upgrading the Oracle database to version 11g R2, and implementing High Availability (HA) solutions to enhance system stability and scalability. Customer historical and transactional data were also successfully migrated by the project team, ensuring no data loss and maintaining the continuity of critical services.
The project team members worked 24/7 to ensure adherence to the committed schedule.
Thanks to FPT’s effective support, on March 24, 2025, Vietnamobile officially accepted the Q1/2025 maintenance contract, ahead of the projected timeline. This outcome underscores FPT’s service excellence and the robust partnership between the two enterprises, contributing to the stable operation of Vietnamobile.
