FPT completes deployment of batch control system for URC, enhancing production management capabilities
Recently, URC Vietnam Co., Ltd. (URC) officially launched the Batch Control system – a core component of its Warehouse Management System & Batch Control (WMS & BC) project implemented by FPT. This marks a significant milestone in URC’s roadmap toward comprehensive digital transformation in manufacturing operations.
The project commenced at the end of 2024 and was successfully completed within five months through close collaboration between technical and operations teams from both sides. Throughout implementation, the project adhered strictly to the established timeline and met all factory-specific requirements, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and production accuracy.
URC officially puts batch control system into operation
The Batch Control system is designed to manage the blending process of raw materials by production batch, ensuring consistent product quality and enhancing traceability. With real-time data visibility, the system empowers managers to make swift, informed decisions while minimizing operational errors, optimizing production costs, and improving overall line efficiency.
Praised for its user-friendly interface, automated alert features, and seamless integration with URC’s existing software ecosystem, the system was quickly adopted and stabilized post go-live. Early feedback from internal users has been overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the system’s contribution to improved production governance from day one.
