FPT.eContract launches a free-of-charge Lite version

Recently, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has launched a Lite version of the electronic contract solution FPT.eContract. With completely free-of-charge features that specifically address the needs for signing process of enterprises, FPT.eContract Lite is expected to be a useful companion for SMEs on the journey of digital transformation and paperless office development.

Break down cost barriers with electronic contracts

Data from the Vietnam Ministry of Planning and Investment shows that, by 2022, more than 98% of enterprises in Vietnam are SMEs, of which over 65% are micro enterprises. By June 2023, electronic contracts are used for business operations by only 50% of enterprises. To achieve the Government’s goal of 80% of enterprises using electronic contracts by 2025, SMEs need to be created conditions to adopt technologies into operations and business activities.

Therefore, in June 2023, the National Assembly of Vietnam has passed the Law on Amendments to the Law on Electronic Transactions 2005. New features of the Law on Electronic Transactions 2023 have created favorable conditions for the implementation of electronic contracts in Vietnam, allowing enterprises to sign contracts in digital environment while ensuring complete legal validity. However, the costs to invest in and implement digital solutions have been hindering SMEs in seizing business opportunities and creating breakthroughs in digital transformation.

This is a completely free-of-charge version, having most of the features like those of the Pro version with no time limit for use, and is applicable to all types of contracts. With the Lite version, FPT.eContract helps enterprises optimize the signing process, while breaking down cost barriers so that enterprises can gradually conduct digital transformation.
