FPT IS accompanies Binh Dinh province to promote the development of digital government, digital economy, and digital society
With the desire to make important contributions to promoting the National Digital Transformation process on all three pillars of digital government, digital economy, digital society and bringing happiness in life and work to people and businesses, as a leading ICT firm, FPT Corporation in general and FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) in particular have accompanied and participated in many major activities of the 24th Vietnam Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Development Cooperation Conference in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province.
The conference is jointly organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province, and the Vietnam Association for Information Processing, with purposes to promote digital transformation, build advanced and synchronized e-government/digital government systems, promote administrative reform, better serve the people and businesses, and contribute to socio-economic development.
Understanding the current situation and closely following the goals of Project 06 – the Project to develop an application of population data, electronic identification and authentication serving the national digital transformation for the period 2022 – 2025 with vision to 2030, FPT determines that data strategy is the key. Accordingly, FPT has proposed data strategies and Made-by-FPT IT infrastructure model to help local leaders with instant direction and administration using data, bringing happiness to the people and businesses based on three basic principles. The first one is to support Binh Dinh province to make use of the available and free utilities of Project 06 to the maximum extent. The second one is that the province builds existing application platform of the business. The third one is to evaluate the efficiency of use of the province, followed by consulting on building a new system or using services from FPT in accordance with the Laws on Procurement and Investment.
FPT and businesses sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Dinh province on promoting digital signature.
With the desire to contribute to accelerating the digital transformation process in Binh Dinh, facilitating the use of public administrative services and execution of transactions in the digital environment for people and businesses, FPT IS and a number of businesses have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Dinh province on implementing and promoting digital signature in the province. Accordingly, FPT IS will support Binh Dinh province to develop policies and communication activities, and consult on the adoption of digital signing solutions, especially the remote digital signing solution, for local people to use in public services of the province.
Besides, FPT IS will also implement many policies to promote and support the use of digital signature authentication services, such as: free provision of digital certificates based on remote digital signing model for people to use in public administrative services within 01 year from the date of use; 20% discount on the use of FPT.eInvoice electronic invoices until December 31, 2023; 20% discount on the use of FPT-CA digital signature (Token/HSM) until December 31, 2023; free provision of a package of 1,000 FPT.eInvoice electronic invoices for businesses that register for use before December 31, 2023; free provision of a package of 100 FPT.eContract electronic contracts for businesses that register for use before December 31, 2023.
FPT.IDCheck and FPT.IDReader solutions draw great attention from local leaders and guests attending the event.
Also within the framework of the conference, at the national ICT exhibition area, FPT IS has demonstrated the Anti-fraud solution for digital identity verification – FPT.IDCheck and chip-based ID card reader device – FPT.IDReader. The two solutions are capable of verifying information and recognizing faces with accuracy of up to 100%, helping to optimize all identification activities in a wide variety of fields such as Tourism, Banking – Finance, Insurance, E-commerce, Real Estate… as well as at any businesses or organizations in need of identification such as schools, notary offices, hospitals…
Currently, FPT IS is one of the few providers in Vietnam that is compliant with all technology and security standards and is licensed by the Ministry of Public Security to provide chip-based ID card verification services. In the education sector, more than 20,000 students were verified with chip-based ID cards as they participated in the 2023 thinking skills assessment examination of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. 11 banks and financial institutions have been using FPT.IDCheck to execute customer verification for services such as account opening or remote loan.
Vietnam ICT Development Cooperation Conference is an event of national scale, jointly organized on annual basis by the Vietnam Association for Information Processing, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the People’s Committees of provinces/cities.
