FPT IS accompanies Dak Lak on the province’s digital transformation journey
On the morning of October 7, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has attended a Seminar in response to Transformation Day 10/10/2022, themed “Dak Lak towards digital citizen” organized by the Department of Information and Communications of the province, aimed to raise awareness of the meaning and importance of digital transformation for people’s lives as well as the province’s economic development. FPT IS is also the highest sponsor of the event.
The seminar to respond to Digital Transformation Day 2022, themed “Dak Lak towards digital citizen”, aims to raise awareness of people across the province of basic information about digital transformation, meanwhile, accelerate and perform digital transformation tasks, effectively implementing digital transformation plan of Dak Lak province, developing Buon Ma Thuot city into a smart city.
Delivering an opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of Dak Lak province, emphasizes: “Taking the theme of “Dak Lak towards digital citizen” demonstrates high determination of the entire political system of the province in digital transformation. Digital transformation is not something beyond comprehension, it is to change working methods based on technologies, adopt technologies to enhance performance, optimize costs and resources”.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha says digital transformation creates opportunities for the province to gain remarkable socio-economic development.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Tien, Deputy Director of the National Digital Transformation Department, also affirms that Dak Lak selects the theme of Digital Citizen to express the desire that people will have a better life upon adoption of technologies, thereby creating digital society, digital government and digital economy.
Responding to expectations and orientations of provincial leaders, at the event, Mr. Doan Ai Nghiep, FPT IS’ e-Government Solution Consultant, has delivered a presentation themed “Platforms for Digital government and Digital citizen”, with an aim to encourage people to adopt digital transformation solutions.
Mr. Nghiep says: “Digital transformation is not a new thing, it is to switch to a new way of doing current things. FPT IS’ digital platforms can help Dak Lak collect, exploit and analyze data for management and administration. Besides, 65% of Dak Lak’s population lives in rural areas and works in agriculture, as a result, agriculture has a great impact on the development of the province. FPT IS is proud to have enormous experience in realizing digital transformation aspirations of provinces with natural and socio-economic conditions similar to those of Dak Lak, such as Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc, etc.”.
