FPT IS accompanies Vietnamese and Japanese start-ups to promote technological strength and address national issues
Recently, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has attended the final round of Inno Vietnam – Japan Fast Track Pitch 2023 as the Challenge Owner.
As one of the typical tech firms in Vietnam, FPT IS has been accompanying the program for 3 months to research and evaluate tech initiatives that focus on two major issues, which are:
- A cross-border platform for carbon credit trading
- Virtual assistants to support the look-up of information on regulations of Ministries/Departments and start-ups in Vietnam

At the final pitch, the start-up FAEGER has been selected and given the “Challenge Owner Awards” as the company has demonstrated amazing tech potential and applicability for the global green transformation issue.
Mr. Tran Duc Tri Quang – Chief Data Officer of FPT IS – say: “All initiatives of the start-ups have shown high practical applicability. The initiatives are all ready in terms of technology and systems and have been deployed to many enterprises and localities both domestically and internationally, recording positive transformation effects. Through the Inno Vietnam – Japan Fast Track Pitch 2023, FPT IS encourages and expects to replicate the spirit of transformation as well as cooperate closely with the start-ups to enhance the quality of people’s lives with technologies, promoting the development of the digital economy both in Vietnam and the region”.
FAEGER has been selected and given the “Challenge Owner Awards”.
As part of the program, FAEGER has visited FPT IS Hanoi office. During this visit, Mr. Takahiro Ishizaki – CEO of FAEGER, Mr. Yusuke Takai – COO of FAEGER, have discussed with the CDO of FPT IS on green transformation, a sustainable development trend for global enterprises. Accordingly, the leaders have shared their views on challenges and opportunities when participating in the Net Zero process, the urgency for green transformation towards circular economy, and the role of technologies in that context. This becomes even more meaningful in the context of the year 2023, the year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, as well as the context of rapid and strong promotion of the cooperation on low carbon growth (the JCM – Joint Crediting Mechanism) between the two countries.
