FPT IS and Edgecore discuss open network technology solutions with businesses
On August 25, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and Edgecore Networks have jointly organized a seminar themed “Open network technology solutions with Edgecore” on a quality, versatile network system that effectively assists the operational and business activities of businesses.
Edgecore Networks is a member of the Accton Technology Corporation, specialized in manufacturing network technology equipment for businesses around the world. In order to promote the business in the Vietnamese market, Edgecore Networks and Accton Corporation have built a manufacturing factory in Vinh Phuc province, and joined forces with FPT IS to provide open network system building services for businesses.
At the event, Mr. Dao Gia Hanh – Director of Technology Partner Development, FPT IS – says, Edgecore Networks’ open network technology allows businesses to develop their own systems based on existing infrastructure, independent of the suppliers. This is the thing that many businesses have desired but yet been able to realize.

The Enterprise Switch/WiFi product with the Switch equipment of up to 400 GB, solutions for each type of service such as Tele, Data Center, as well as the Sonic software introduced by Edgecore Networks have drawn great attention from the guests.
At the event, Edgecore Networks and FPT IS have also demoed the ecCloud and WiFi/Switch products for the guests to better understand the setup process as well as the speed and quality of the products.
The cooperation between Edgecore Networks and FPT IS aims to bring a suite of the most up-to-date open network solutions to Vietnamese businesses.
