FPT IS and Hanoi Department of Information and Communications to jointly conduct training on the new-gen information system for handling administrative procedures
On March 13, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and Hanoi’s Department of Information and Communications (HDIC) have jointly organized an opening ceremony for the “Training course on the use of the City’s new-gen information system for handling administrative procedures”.
Currently, FPT IS and HDIC have completed the investigation and built the software and infrastructure, addressing the demand to connect the National Public Service Portal and the Population Database, getting ready for the training and operation of the system from March 31. Therefore, the opening ceremony has an important meaning, ensuring thorough training for leaders and specialists involved in handling administrative procedures, thereby creating a premise for the system to operate successfully.
Delivering an opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung – Deputy Director of HDIC – says that Hanoi’s new-gen information system for handling administrative procedures has been basically completed in accordance with the demands of the Government and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

“The system will officially come into operation from March 31, and will not only help the administration and operation in Hanoi city’s administrative agencies be carried out under ‘one-stop shop’ mechanism, but also open, transparent, and create maximum favorable conditions for the people and organizations to perform administrative procedures on online environment,” said Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung.
On behalf of FPT IS, the company that has been accompanying Hanoi city in the implementation of the Information system for handling administrative procedures, CEO Nguyen Hoang Minh says: “The project is implemented in weeks and this is an ultimate challenge in terms of requirements and scale. In fact, in just 40 days, with our highly extensive experience in national and provincial systems, as well as projects with special characteristics and requirements, FPT IS has successfully delivered the new-gen information system for handling administrative procedures on schedule”.

“With this new-gen information system for handling administrative procedures, people and organizations will be given a single account to use for online registration for all public administrative services at all levels via an electronic record system, replacing the form of paper records which has conventionally been handled directly at state agencies. Besides, the monitoring of record processing status and the receiving of results will be done entirely on the online environment. With the support of the agencies, FPT IS is committed to always assisting the users to the maximum extent, meanwhile welcoming feedback and suggestions from public officials so that the system will get more and more perfect, providing the best service for people and enterprises”, added Mr. Minh.
The new system will officially come into operation from March 31.
In order to get the new system ready for use at agencies in the City, the HDIC organizes training courses on the use of the new-gen information system for handling administrative procedures for nearly 10,000 trainees, including 113 centralized training classes and 36 training classes in districts and towns. The main purpose is to instruct trainees to operate and master the new features of receiving, processing records, and returning administrative procedure results on the City’s software system.
