FPT IS Chairman participated in a high-level meeting with the Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) delegation

Within the framework of a visit to promote the Vietnam – Japan Joint Initiative, FPT recently welcomed nearly 60 delegates from the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren). At the high-level meeting, Mr. Tran Dang Hoa – Chairman of FPT IS shared with Japanese leaders some of FPT’s highlights during its 35 years of establishment and development in 3 pillar areas: Technology, Education, and Telecommunications.

Mr. Hoa affirmed that Vietnam has been, and continues to be, a bright spot in the panorama of the world economy. “We are also becoming the world’s new destination for technology, having risen to second place behind India in software. During our journey of development, FPT has always carried within ourselves the desire to pioneer. The first is our dream of software export and globalization, which passed the USD 1 billion milestone in 2023 for overseas IT services revenue, marking a turning point for us as a world-class company.

The second is our goal to catch new waves of the global market, typically semiconductors, which are gradually coming to fruition at FPT IS. With the successful development of the “Make in Vietnam – Made by FPT” chips, FPT Semiconductor Joint Stock Company (FPT Semiconductor) became the first company in Vietnam to provide commercial semiconductor chips. In the future, FPT will carry on with our mission of bringing Vietnamese intelligence to the world, promoting the growth of global digital economy – green economy.”

Since April 2020, FPT has officially become a member of the the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren), one of the organizations with the greatest influence on foreign economic affairs and economic development policy in Japan.
