FPT IS kicks off a project of standardizing internal process for PC1

Recently, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and PC1 Group have jointly organized a kick-off ceremony for phase 1 of Paperless Office system project, a movement to help PC1 “smart start” on the journey of digital transformation.

This is the first Quick-Win project after a high-level meeting in September 2022, creating an important foundation for cooperation between the two sides. The ceremony is attended by senior leaders, heads of business departments, as well as representatives of project teams of the two companies.

Accordingly, FPT IS will deploy Process digitalization and automatic assignment solution (FPT SPro) for PC1. This is a product under a suite of FPT Paperless Office solutions, which reduces up to 98.79% of tasks compared to manual methods, and 90% of process handling time, enhancing performance of back-office staff by 150%. Currently, FPT IS has deployed the solution for more than 100 companies of all sizes in Vietnam.

FPT SPro is expected to help PC1 “start smart” on the journey of digital transformation. Digitalization of PC1’s office processes will be done based on a set of “The best practices” drawn by FPT IS after years of consulting and implementing FPT SPro. The goal of phase 1 of the project is to standardize and digitalize internal processes, optimize business operations, and innovate the way the employees work at PC1.

After 59 years of operation, PC1 has been affirming its position as a leading company, not only in the field of power construction but also industrial production, energy investment, real estate investment, consulting and services. PC1 has set out a transformation roadmap for the period of 2025 – 2030 with an abundance of activities, including adoption of digital technologies in awareness training, enhancement of leadership thinking, standardization of processes…, aiming to migrate from an existing obsolete digital platform to a new one.

At the ceremony, Head of PC1’s Digital transformation department says FPT IS’ solutions have suggested multiple orientations for PC1 to “think big, start smart, scale fast”: “We are highly impressed with FPT’s Quick-Win solutions, those that are easy to adopt and quickly deliver results such as Consolidated financial system (FPT.CFS), FPT Paperless Office suite, Online training system (FPT.eLearning)… PC1 expects to start with standardization and automation of internal processes to create momentum for digital transformation throughout the Group, thereby promptly deploying subsequent solutions”.
