FPT IS launches globalization strategy for IMS
Recently, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has launched the Global Managed Services Park. This is a strategic step of FPT IS in realizing the goal of globalization and becoming a pioneering enterprise in global information system management in Vietnam.
As part of the globalization strategy, FPT IS focuses on developing capacity and technologies in the field of IT Managed Services to address the needs of multinational corporations. Global Managed Services Park, a centralized center of global system administration and information security monitoring, has been built, aiming to provide services to 100 international customers. It is assumed that more than 1,000 employees will be involved and a revenue of 30 million USD is expected by 2026.
This milestone helps FPT IS move closer to its goal of globalization, becoming a provider of cross-border information security and system administration services for multinational corporations. With an area of 600m2, advanced facilities compliant with international standards, and diverse IT systems, the Center can be expanded up to 1,800m2 depending on customers’ needs.

According to Gartner’s forecast in September 2023, expenditures for IT services on global scale will record an increase of 7.5 – 10%/year and will reach approximately 1,500 billion USD by 2024. Particularly in the field of information security, the increase rate is around 11.3%/year and will reach 90 billion USD by 2024.

FPT IS’s Global Managed Services Park has been ready to serve both domestic and international customers, offering 2 types of monitoring centers: (1) Separate Security and Network Operation Center (a separate room will be allocated for each customer, managed by IP cameras and access control system), (2) Common Security and Network Operation Center with an area of about 150m2, capable of providing Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC) services to up to 30 domestic and international customers. The Center is operated by more than 150 leading engineers and IT experts equipped with major international certificates such as CCIE, CISSP, CCSP, GCFA, GREM, OSWE… The processes of service provision and system operation are all compliant with relevant international standards such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, capable of addressing the most demanding requirements of global customers”, said Mr. Le Hoang Duong – Director of Cyber Security Center, FPT IS.
