FPT IS presents Smart manufacturing solution at VietnamWood 2022
On October 18, attending VietnamWood 2022, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has presented features and benefits of the MES system, one of major components in Smart manufacturing together with relevant integrated platforms, creating breakthroughs in manufacturing and operation for wood companies.
Delivering an opening speech to a workshop on “Solutions for product design and smart manufacturing management for furniture industry”, Mr. Nguyen Duy Toan, on behalf of the Steering Committee of Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City, says: “Currently, Vietnam’s wood processing industry has shown a remarkable annual wooden furniture export turnover and achieved a growth rate twice as high as the country’s GDP. Accordingly, Mr. Toan expects that the workshop will bring Smart manufacturing solutions to industry companies’ attention, thereby optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing performance and operational efficiency, contributing to comprehensive development of the wood processing industry.
