FPT IS provides ERP solutions designed particularly for the textile and garment industry in Vietnam
On March 27, 2024, Mr. Dinh Huu Hung – Deputy Software Delivery Director of Enterprise Sector (Senior Consulting Director of Corporate Governance) spoke on behalf of FPT IS at the thematic seminar “Seize opportunities: Embrace sustainability trends and optimize resource usage” at the Texfuture Vietnam 2024 – Spring-Summer exhibition.
In collaboration with Sustainable Textile Solutions Corporation (STS) and the TENGDA Exhibition, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Ho Chi Minh City branch (VCCI HCM) organized the event in Ho Chi Minh City with the goal of assisting Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises in improving their competitiveness, staying up to date on market information, customers, and partners, particularly advancements in finding and developing sustainable and innovative sources of raw materials. The event featured over 60 booths displaying high-end fabrics and five thematic seminars held from March 27 to March 29.
At the afternoon conference session on March 27, Mr. Dinh Huu Hung – Deputy Software Delivery Director of Enterprise Sector represented FPT IS to share his thoughts on “ERP: Empowering Green Circular Economy in Vietnam’s Textile Industry” with all guests attending the event. He stated that Vietnam’s textile and garment industry urgently required solutions to optimize business resources and provide significant value for business activities. Finding and seizing business opportunities is a time-consuming process that is exclusively associated with the unique challenges facing the textile industry. Thus, in order to integrate technology into business management and boost operational efficiency while cutting costs, Vietnamese textile and garment businesses need to approach digital transformation.

Additionally, he emphasized the technological platform solutions model for the textile sector, which includes the ERP system at its core. The industry’s in-depth solutions, including the following, are integrated with the core system: MES – Production operations/equipment connection, Paperless and AI, E-Invoices, E-Banking, etc. All solutions are linked into a comprehensive digital transformation ecosystem, strongly empowering businesses. The textile and garment industry improves its capacity to meet the global supply chain.
Through the thematic seminar held within the framework of the exhibition, businesses had the opportunity to update new information on trends, technology solutions, and materials from experts to plan strategies, in order to improve production and business in the near future.
