Recently, the event “Catalysing Innovation with AI | Vietnam Edition” was organized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in collaboration with the British Embassy with the presence of the Lord Mayor of London, Mr. Michael Mainelli, and ACCA Regional and Vietnam Directors, the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as ACCA members who are executive leaders from the fields of Accounting, Auditing, Finance, and Technology in Vietnam.

The Lord Mayor Michael Mainelli and other speakers provided a global perspective on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, practical implementation experiences in Vietnam, and models for businesses to leverage limitless potential of AI in all organizational activities.

At the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Consulting Director of Enterprise Digital Transformation, FPT IS, delivered an in-depth presentation on the AI applications in Vietnamese enterprises. She predicted that AI would have a significant impact on businesses operating across a wide range of fields, particularly in the finance and banking sector. She emphasized one challenge that most Vietnamese enterprises face is the lack of synchronization in the planning and management of database. Enterprises must tackle this challenge starting from developing a comprehensive direction and strategy, then planning and building a data infrastructure ready for testing and realizing the strategy.
