FPT IS successfully connects to Vietnam Certified e-Contract Authority
On the morning of June 16, the Vietnam Certified e-Contract Authority (CeCA) has officially been announced at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) is one of 6 e-contract authentication service providers participating in the Authority.
Mr. Duong Dung Trieu, Chairman of FPT IS, says, the electronic contract authentication process between FPT.eContract and CeCA has been completed, and FPT.CeCA system is now ready to provide electronic contract authentication to enterprises, organizations and individuals across the country. The company will accompany the Department of E-commerce and other service providers to participate in CeCA with a full technical ecosystem for digital signing such as FPT Cloud, FPT.eSign, eKYC, etc.
FPT IS is one of the first service providers to successfully connect to CeCA.
Since 2020, FPT IS has launched digital signing model FPT.eContract in Vietnam. The solution is applicable to all types of contracts and documents. After over 2 years, more than 2,000,000 users have been using FPT.eContract for the signing process. This “Made-by-FPT” platform also offers a function to choose the form of authentication with the seal of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Banks and financial institutions who want to verify the legal validity of electronic contract content can use FPT.CeCA to authenticate with the timestamp and digital signature of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The launch of CeCA is a major milestone to promote e-commerce and the adoption of digital transformation in trade and business activities in Vietnam. At the event, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan says, the development of e-contracts in Vietnam needs to meet all the criteria of development and practical use, thereby helping enterprises manage in a more effective way, reducing paper waste, saving time and creating a more professional business environment. Particularly, e-contracts also allow to connect government’s trusted technical platforms and digital infrastructures to enterprises, organizations and individuals via commercial transactions.
FPT IS presents the process of signing and validating electronic contract on the FPT.eContract system.
According to current regulations, in 2022, people and enterprises can use electronic contracts from organizations certified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This is intended to assist third parties such as banks, auditing firms, dispute settlement agencies, tax authorities, etc., to verify the legal validity of electronic contracts.
FPT IS believes that FPT.eContract and FPT.CeCA will be a complete piece to help enterprises and people adopt electronic contracts in a safe, secure, and fully legal way.
