FPT launches SAP S/4HANA budget management system implementation project at THFC
On March 9, 2026, FPT, in collaboration with TH Food Chain Joint Stock Company (THFC) – a member of TH Group, officially launched the project “Implementation of a budget management system on the SAP S/4HANA platform,” marking the beginning of THFC’s journey toward adopting a modern budgeting solution to enhance corporate financial governance.
The launch ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Nguyen Duc Nam – CEO of THFC; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khoa – CIO of TH Group; Ms. Mai Thuy Duong – CFO of THFC; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen – Director of SAP ERP Deployment, FPT IS (FPT Corporation); along with key members of the project team.

The project is expected to be completed within 3 months, targeting a go-live date of June 8, 2026. Building on THFC’s existing SAP S/4HANA On-Premise landscape, which includes core modules such as FICO, MM, SD, and PP, FPT will implement the SAP Funds Management (SAP FM) solution to establish a centralized, structured, and efficient budget management system.
Within the scope of the project, FPT will convert existing budget data into SAP FM, while also providing consulting services to design a multi-dimensional budget structure aligned with THFC’s organizational and governance model. The system will support key business processes such as budget planning and allocation, budget reallocation, monitoring and controlling budget utilization, and will be integrated with the LOTUS software platform to ensure seamless data connectivity and end-to-end process alignment.
Currently, THFC’s budget management is largely handled manually using Internal Orders (IO), with budgets allocated separately by department or category. This approach presents limitations in terms of flexibility, automation, and the ability to consolidate and analyze data at an enterprise level. Therefore, the implementation of SAP FM is therefore expected to enable THFC to build a comprehensive budget management platform, improve expenditure control, and provide timely, accurate insights to support decision-making.
The project launch marks a significant milestone in THFC’s journey to enhance its financial management system on the SAP platform. It also reinforces FPT’s capabilities in delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions for large enterprises in the manufacturing and food supply chain sectors. The project is expected to optimize operational processes, strengthen budget governance, and lay a solid foundation for THFC’s next phases of digital transformation.
