FPT lifts the wings of dreams for pupils in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province
On the morning of November 21, FPT Corporation continues its “happy journey” by visiting 5 schools in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province, giving 5 electronic libraries and hundreds of gifts to the pupils.
The electronic library giving activities have been carried out by the Hope Foundation (licensed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, operated by VnExpress e-newspaper and FPT Corporation), with the funds of 2.2 billion VND from FPT Corporation. The learning applications for the library are provided by Vuihoc company. Besides the facilities and software, the Hope Foundation and businesses expect to accompany schools in the long term to improve the effectiveness of the e-Library after it is put into operation, by monitoring access and software usage indicators as well as learning accounts.
FPT team gives 5 electronic libraries to 5 primary schools in Huong Khe district.
Visiting Huong Khe district, a mountainous district in the southwest of Ha Tinh province, the team has given 5 electronic libraries to 5 primary schools in Huong Khe Town, Huong Tra, Huong Xuan, Huong Binh, Phu Phong. Each library includes 15 tablets and headphones, as well as accounts for the online learning of Math, Vietnamese, and English.
In addition, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has given 300 sets of school supplies to pupils of Huong Xuan primary school. The company has also given 2 TVs, 2 printers and 9 scholarships for those with particularly difficult circumstances at Huong Khe Town primary school.

Speaking with the teachers and pupils, Ms. Bui Nguyen Phuong Chau – Chief Operations Officer, FPT IS – hopes that the gifts will give wings to the pupils’ dreams, sow green seeds of knowledge and create the best conditions for the seeds to flourish and grow on the harsh land of the Central region. Ms. Chau also expects the gifts could contribute to building happy schools, enabling the mission of “creating happiness” of FPT Corporation.
Mr. Tran Trung Bo – Principal of Huong Khe Town primary school – thanks the team for the practical gifts for the school and the pupils. Mr. Bo believes that the tablets, learning accounts, and scholarships will help the pupils overcome difficulties and give them chances to access advanced learning contents and gain new knowledge.
