FPT people join hands to let “Kindness fly far”
On March 13, FPT officially launched its journey of kindness with the opening ceremony of the 15th FPT Community Day at four locations: Hanoi (FPT Tower, Hoa Lac), Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
Early on the morning of March 13, CEO Nguyen Van Khoa sent a letter to all FPT employees, calling on the entire FPT community to join hands in spreading kindness far and wide.
At the beginning of the letter, FPT CEO recalled a memory from exactly 15 years ago (March 13, 2010), when thousands of FPT employees participated in a blood donation drive and a parade with the message “Joining Hands for Patients’ Lives,” marking the inception of FPT Community Day.
“For the past 15 years, driven by teamwork and a deep sense of social responsibility, FPT employees have contributed over 100 billion VND from their salaries, along with thousands of volunteer hours for charitable activities,” FPT CEO wrote in the letter. In addition to more than 500 billion VND from the company’s budget, FPT employees have helped build hundreds of bridges, construct and renovate schools, support orphans who lost their parents to COVID-19, donate tens of thousands of blood units, and assist millions of people in need.
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of FPT Community Day in 2025, the Group’s leader called on every FPT employee to continue supporting the company’s social responsibility efforts by contributing a day’s salary, participating in volunteer activities, and spreading kindness. “FPT commits to matching employee contributions with at least an equal amount from the company’s budget to fund community initiatives,” Mr. Khoa affirmed in his letter.
In Hanoi, the organizing committee had all preparations in place early. Employees from various units gathered in full force, though the gloomy and humid weather was not entirely favorable for FPT’s activities.
In Ho Chi Minh City, by 7:30 AM, the blood donation area was gradually filling up. The number of volunteers in FPT’s signature orange shirts continued to grow, crowding the waiting hall. To prevent long lines, the organizing committee arranged additional seating for participants.
Like all FPT employees, FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa sat in the pink chair to donate blood.
In Da Nang, FPT people also gathered to check-in the event early and registered to donate blood in large numbers. Many leaders of the units took the lead in sharing the drops of love.
At the FVille-2 (Hoa Lac), FPT people were also present in large numbers to register to donate blood. The atmosphere was exciting as the number of people increased day by day, everyone wanted to send drops of love on FPT for Community Day.
Community activities in full swing across locations
At 8:30 a.m., the community areas in Hall A, FPT Tower were full of people donating blood and exchanging trash for gifts. Everyone was warm, smiling, and excited because they were participating in a series of extremely meaningful activities in the FPT orange shirt.

In Ho Chi Minh City, six booths were set up by FPT Software, FPT Retail, FPT Education, FPT Telecom, Sendo, and the Green Booth—where participants could exchange waste for gifts. These booths attracted a large number of FPT employees eager to take part.
FPT people in the South waited their turn to experience the booths, exchange gifts, and shop.
In Da Nang, the Hope booth received a lot of love from FPT people. This booth displayed products handcrafted by students from the Hope School. Besides familiar items like soap bars, scented candles, and biscuits, they also introduced a new product: the Hope Bag – made from dried banana sheaths, handwoven.

In Hanoi, Deputy CEO of FPT Nguyen The Phuong expresses pride when looking back at the 15-year journey of FPT Community Day. “Looking back at the journey we have gone through, I feel extremely proud that we have joined hands to support and help the community. In 2024 alone, FPT Corporation raised over 66 billion VND, of which employees contributed up to 22.7 billion. Each FPT person’s contribution is an essential part of the Corporation’s community picture. We have repaired, built hundreds of schools, hundreds of bridges, donated tens of thousands of blood units, and supported many FPT employees in difficult situations. That is thanks to the contributions of all of us, joining hands with FPT.”
According to Mr. Phuong, stepping into 2025, FPT will continue the story “Let Kindness Fly Far.” To achieve that, it requires the joint efforts and unity of all FPT people and stronger participation from management at all levels.
On behalf of the Corporation’s leadership, Deputy CEO of FPT sincerely thanks the noble gestures of all employees, especially those directly participating in community activities, for their efforts in spreading the value of love everywhere in society.

Once again, we extend our arms with love, connection, and sharing. Your contributions are the result of hard work, sweat, and savings, which makes them all the more precious,” Mr. Khoa shared.

Over the past 15 years, thousands of blood units have been donated, and thousands of stories have been written. From that very first time, we understood: if we do good things, kindness will spread.”
